A cinema remake of the classic sitcom Dad's Army (1968). The Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard platoon deal with a visiting female journalist and a German spy as World War II draws to its conclusion.
Flourishes of _Bedknobs and Broomsticks_, yet a far, far cry from that masterpiece. Quite a cast assembled, cannot go so far as to say that they were wasted, but _Dad's Army_ is not really my cup of tea.
